A gallery of my fall inspired work along with movement abstracts is on display at Heather's Bakery at 103 Main St., in Georgetown. Heather's features the most amazing baked goods and delicious lunch items. Stop in, grab a bite and tilt your head around to catch both sides of my large, reversible encaustic!

July 11, 2016 -- Can you feel the heat? What a wonderful afternoon at the Alton Mill Art Centre opening reception for "Some Like it Hot" a new show featuring artist interpretations of summer -- from sizzling summertime heat and hot spicy colours to the reflections of these lazy, hazy days. I had the pleasure of being juried into the show as one of the artists.
There are some amazing works by artists practicing so many mediums - fiber art, blown glass, pottery, oil, acrylic and multimedia paintings. and of course, my little encaustics! The gallery looks incredible lit up with reds, magentas, warm yellows and cool blues. Make a day of it and come to Headwaters for a wonderful show!
WHEN: Wednesday July 6th to Sunday August 14, 2016.
WHERE: Headwaters Art Gallery in the Alton Mill Arts Centre, 1402 Queen St. W, Alton
